Our priority as we return to play is to maximize the number of games played for all teams.
Standings will be tracked, but formal playoffs will not take place during our return to play from COVID-19 lockdowns.
While standings will still appear in your schedule, there is significantly less focus being placed on winning and championship titles. New teams may be added and teams may be removed throughout the season for health and safety reasons. Focusing on total games played (and not playoffs) will help provide the flexibility needed to work under the unpredictable nature of ongoing gathering limits and restrictions.
At the end of the season, league champions will still be declared. The team at the top of the standings at the end of the scheduled season will be declared champions of the league!
As things evolve, we will revisit this format and may bring playoffs back in future seasons.
